Slight change of plans

So, after deliberating with [info]belladonnas_web, I've decided to switch my Halloween costume from the Vampire Armand to...(dududuuuu) Don the Vampire. That's right boys and girls, that hot guy rom SciFi Channel's Mad Mad House. May he forgive me..lol. Hey Sasha, did you find out about those contacts?

In other news, my reenactment group, Das Teufels Alpdruecken Faehnlein or The Devil's Nightmare Regiment, is participating in an event in Long Is, NY. We're going to reenact the German Peasant's Rebellion of 1524-6 CE and are going to, quite literally, be storming a castle. I'm so freakin' excited! I love this stuff!

Where's this castle? Is it open to the public? How large and what time frame is it based from (1525?)? Details, man, details! I love castles!

The reenactment sounds like fun!

It's Gould Castle at Sands Point Preserve in Long Is, NY. Yes it is open to the public. We're reenacting Florian Geyer's Black Band's siege of Wurtemburg in 1524. We have several groups coming from all over the country, so we're looking at nearly a hundred men.

I mostly love the name: Don the Vampire. What, was Vinnie the Vampire already taken? :)

The reenactment sounds awesome! Is there a web site for your regiment?

His name is Don Henrie, thus, Don the Vampire. He was a riot on Mad Mad House.

Our website is www.landsknecht.org
